Engineered Wood Fiber Maintenance Recommendations

Monthly Maintenance

• Inspect the area and remove any foreign objects on a weekly basis
• Rake the EWF to ensure it is level.
• Ensure the depth of the EWF measures to original specifications
• Consider wear mats to reduce or eliminate the need to rake EWF in high traffic areas such as under swings or at slide exits
• Engineered wood fiber may need to be topped off with fresh surfacing annually.
